The informative study, which was bankrolled by the U.S government, is the first of its kind anywhere in the world to investigate the impact of BPA on the human reproductive system.
Researches tracked and studied 600 male workers in China over a five year period. The workers that were exposed to high levels of BPA reported considerably more sexual dysfunction than fellow workers who worked in factories where BPA wasn’t present. Scarily, the BPA-exposed workers were four times more likely to experience erectile dysfunction and reduced sexual desire and seven times more likely to have difficulty with ejaculation – most notably the these changes on the men occurred in around two months.
The quest to rid the world of BPA continues.
